– 1 pound ground beef
– 1 medium onion, chopped
– 1 green bell pepper, chopped
– 1 pink bell pepper, chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
– 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
– 1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
– 1 tablespoon chili powder
– 1 teaspoon floor cumin
– half of teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
For the Avocado Crema:

-1 avocado, ripe and peeled
-1/2 cup sour cream
-1/4 cup mayonnaise
-1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
-1/4 cup lime juice
-1/4 teaspoon salt
-1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
For the Sloppy Joes:
1. In a big skillet, brown the bottom beef and onion over medium warmth. Drain any extra grease.
2. Stir in the tomato sauce, water, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes, or till the sauce has thickened.
3. Serve the Sloppy joe Turkey Joe combination on toasted hamburger buns with avocado slices and shredded cheese (optional).

Combine the avocado, sour cream, cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a food processor or blender and blend till easy. Taste and regulate seasonings as needed.

- Add a dollop of guacamole to the center of each sloppy joe.
