Instructions
To make the Sloppy Joe Filling
In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium warmth; drain. Stir in onion and green pepper; cook and stir for 5 to 7 minutes or until tender.
Stir in sloppy joe sauce, water, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce warmth; simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes or till thickened. Serve warm on toasted tortillas.
To assemble the Quesadillas
1. Spread a number of tablespoons of the Sloppy Joe combination on one half of each tortilla, leaving about a 1-inch border across the edges.
2. Fold the opposite half of the tortilla over the filling, urgent down lightly to seal the sides.
3. Heat a big skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly butter or oil the skillet.
4. Place the quesadillas in the hot skillet and cook dinner for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
5. Remove from the skillet and reduce into wedges. Serve immediately together with your favourite toppings, similar to bitter cream, salsa, or guacamole.
